the emerging forms of contingent employment and its effects on
employment relations in different industries/regions.
Undertaking comparative studies of labour laws in similarly placed
countries and situating it in the context of globalisation.
Examining the relationship between labour legislations and employment

the concept of social security in an under-developed economy where
insecurities in terms of employment, income and health seem to be
growing.

relation to the informal/unorganised sectors
