March 17 - 18, 2005

The training program on "Two-Day Training Workshop On Emerging Labour Issues In Post-Globalisation Era" was designed to  understand the changes in the economic  and labour policies in the light of globalisation, liberalisation and privatisation, to develop an understanding of the need and  process of disinvestment and its implications on employment and employment relations, to understand the pros and cons of ensuing labour law reforms, to develop an understanding of the need and component of social security, to gain clarity on the rationalisation of the workforce and of post VRS scenario and to explore the ways and means of enhancing productivity.

 

March 10 - 11, 2005

The training program on "Two-Day Training Workshop On Skills For Developing Effective Leadership" was designed to enhance effective leadership skills, to develop communication skills particularly focussing upon effective articulation and listening , to develop and enhance problem solving skills and to understand the nature and process of work culture

 

March  07 - 14, 2005

The training program on "Leadership Development  Programme For Trade Union Leaders From North Eastern States" was designed to provide insight into the organisational process, the dynamics of inter-personal and inter-group relations, to acquire skills for managing and resolving conflicts , to understand the role of trade union as against the new economic policy and to understand motivation skill, leadership style and effective communication

The training program on "Sensitisation Programme on Health Issues in the World of Work for Trade Union Leaders" was designed to provide awareness on the various  Health issues in the world of work , to establish  rationale for health intervention  in the World of Work and to situate the role of different social partners in the efforts towards addressing health issues at the  workplace

 

March  02 - 04 , 2005

The training program on "Sensitisation  Programme On Prevention Of Hiv/Aids At The Workplace  For Ngos" was designed to provide awareness on the current scenario of HIV/AIDS, to establish the rationale for intervention in the World of Work , to share the experiences of the existing interventions in the World of Work , to situate the role of different social partners in the Prevention of the HIV/AIDS  in the World of Work , and to evolve strategies for a wider participation of social partners in the effort towards the Prevention of HIV/AIDS .

 

Feb28-March 04, 2005

The training program on "Training Programme on Sexual Harassment at The Workplace  for Trade Union Leaders" was designed to sensitise the participants on the concept of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace , to orient the participants on the international concerns for combating the problem, to orient the participants on the Supreme Court Judgement on Sexual Harassment at the Workplace and strategies towards implementing the judgement, to evolve effective mechanisms to address the issue and to integrate it into workplace and to identify the role of trade unions in addressing the issue.

 

February 21-28, 2005

The training program on "Leadership Development Programme For Trade Union Leaders" was designed to understand the institutional framework of industrial relations, to update knowledge of critical developments in labour laws, to develop problem solving, commun- ication and participative decision-making skills, to appreciate the importance of internal democracy in the functioning and development of unions and to explore the emerging role of  trade union in the context of recent economic changes.

The training program on "Orientation  Programme On Child Labour  For Employers’ Repres- entatives Of Nclp Districts" was designed to work our strategies with employer’s representati- ves to eliminate child labour.

 

February 14-18, 2005

The training program on"Leadership Development Programme For Trade Union Leaders/ Workers’ Organisers From Beedi Industry" was designed to impart leadership skills to the organisers of workers, to enhance inter-personal communication, to make them aware about the legal protections in various labour legislations and to acquaint them with the welfare funds existing for them.

 

February 14-18, 2005

The training program on "Trade Union Verification" was designed to provide knowledge regarding verification procedure and difficulties faced during verification and remedial mea- sures of these, to make them aware about the role of employers, trade union officials and resource utilisation during the process of verification; and discuss laws of verification and the role of courts in verification – case studies.

The training program on "Orientation Programme On Child Labour For Trade Union Leaders From North Eastern States" was Designed to make aware of the magnitude, causes and consequences of child labour in North Eastern Region, to enhance understanding on the policies, programmes and other interventions pertaining to child labour and to motivate the participants to contribute to the convergence efforts effectivelyTo discuss role of trade unions in progressive elimination of child labour in India.

The training program on "Orientation Programme On Child Labour For  NGOs" was designed to create awareness about the problem of child labour in India and to enhance understanding on the policies, programme and other interventions pertaining to child labour, to enhance awareness of the socio-economic and political situation in India and abroad in the context of child labour, to motivate the participants to contribute towards effective convergence of efforts towards making child labour free society and to provide skills to become effective communic- ator in their duty to eliminate child labour.
