My interest in the area of research mainly include -Unorganised Sector with special  

   reference to Rural Workers and interest in the area of training mainly include-Rural Sector,

   Urban Unorganised Sector and Leadership Development etc. I have completed the

I am closely associated with conducting and coordinating the training programmes in the area of Rural Trade Union Organisers, Trade Union Leaders of Organised Workers, Women Group Organisers of DWCRA Scheme, N.G.O. activists working particularly in rural areas, Rural Labourers and artisans belonging to the deprived sections and Quarry-mine workers. In NEIPA I coordinated many programmes for College Principals, University Registrars, Head of Departments, Deans of College Development  Councils, Directors of Academic Staff Colleges and College Teachers. In addition I have also been taking sessions  in several training programmes of the Institute.

I have published more than 50 articles in National and International Journals and in the 

     Institute's regular publications.

Authored and edited about 20 books and 4 books are forthcoming.

Delivered a number of lectures at various Academic Staff Colleges and SCERT and several 

    Universities. I have also presented papers relating to labour issues in different Conferences 

    held in the Institute and Outside.

Ex-Editor of V. V. Giri National Labour Institute Newsletter, Ex-Associate Editor of 

    VVGNLI Journal "LABOUR & DEVELOPMENT", was Associate Editor of Journal

    of Indian Labour Economics and Editor of Ministry of Labour's Magazine - SHRAM
