Infrastructure

 

The Institute is spread over an area of approximately 12.45 acres. The campus has a faculty -cum- administrative block along with seminar and library blocks, hostel, internal water supply system, electric substation and a small residential complex.  

 

Seminar/Training Halls:  

The Institute has five training halls which can accommodate approximately 225 trainees at one time. Every hall has audio-visual facilities. In addition to these, one large modern conference hall is also available for seminars/conferences and workshops.

Hostel:

The Institute has an excellent hostel building. It has 66 fully furnished rooms out of which 20 are deluxe rooms with attached baths and independent balconies, dining halls and a well furnished lounge with recreational facilities. The green and open environment, free from noise and pollution facilitates positive participation in the residential programmes.

N.R. De Resource Centre on Labour Information:

N. R De Resource Centre on Labour Information (NRDRCLI) is one of the most reputed library cum documentation centre in the area of labour studies in the country. The Centre was renamed in memory of late Shri Nitish R. De, the founder Dean of the Institute on July 01, 1999 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Institute. The Centre is fully computerised.
